Founded in 1967, CQUniversity has one of the widest geographic footprints in Australia, with campuses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Gold Coast, Cairns, Townsville and other cities. Ranked #436 in the QS World Rankings 2027, it is rated #1 in Australia for teaching quality, student support and overall educational experience. It is the only Australian university certified as a Changemaker Campus by Ashoka U.

Founded in 1967, UniSQ ranks #411 in the QS World University Rankings 2027 and among the top 58 young universities in the world (THE 2025). Rated 5 stars by QS, it holds the top position in Australia for graduate employability and starting salaries. It is known for its strong distance and online offering, and is one of the most affordable universities in the country for international students.

Founded in 1994, Southern Cross University ranks #634 in the QS World Rankings 2027 and was named the most improved university in Oceania by QS in 2026. It sits in the global top 500 for Times Higher Education 2026 and in the top 100 young universities worldwide. With more than 6,000 international students from 90+ countries, its strengths are Nursing, Agriculture and Environmental Science. The Gold Coast campus is a highlight in its own right.

VU Sydney and VU Brisbane are campuses of Victoria University in Melbourne (founded in 1916), run in partnership with the ECA Group exclusively for international students. VU sits in the global top 300 with QS and is known for the VU Block Model — you take one subject at a time, in four-week blocks, in small classes built around hands-on learning. The campuses take new students throughout the year.

The Ultimo Study Centre is the Sydney campus of the University of Tasmania (UTAS), run in partnership with the ECA Group and aimed exclusively at international students. Set in the technology and innovation hub of Ultimo, in the Sydney CBD, it offers on-campus learning with workshops and work-integrated learning. UTAS ranks #293 in the QS World Rankings 2025 and is recognised as #1 in the world for Climate Action in the THE Impact Rankings.

Charles Sturt University is the largest regional university in Australia, and its Sydney and Melbourne campuses are run by the Navitas Group in partnership with the university, aimed at international students. The North Sydney campus opened in 2024 and the Melbourne CBD one in March 2025. CSU is rated 5 stars by the Good Universities Guide for graduate employability and starting salaries.

TAFE International brings together three government providers — TAFE NSW, TAFE WA and TAFE QLD — with decades of history and a strong name for practical training built around what industry actually needs. In higher education, each state runs its own bachelor’s degrees and higher-level diplomas, focused on fields in high demand in the Australian market. All of them offer pathway programs into partner universities, with credit recognised.

Founded in 2008, Kaplan Business School (KBS) is a private institution devoted entirely to business and related fields, registered with TEQSA. In QILT 2024, its postgraduate students rated overall educational quality, teaching and engagement above every public university in Australia. The KBS MBA is the most popular MBA in the country among international students.

Founded in 1995, KOI is a private higher education institution in the Sydney CBD, specialising in business, accounting, IT and teaching English as a second language. It is especially popular with international students for its central location, small classes, competitive fees and dedicated academic support. It also runs an internship program built into the curriculum for every student.

Founded in 1983, ACAP University College specialises in education built around human behaviour, with more than 40 years of experience and over 30,000 graduates. Its Psychology courses are accredited by APAC, Counselling by PACFA and Social Work by AASW. Part of the Navitas group, it runs both on-campus and online courses with a strong emphasis on practical learning and supervised clinical placements.

Founded in 1976, SAE is the largest creative media and technology institution in the world, with campuses in more than 20 countries. In Australia, it was granted University College status by TEQSA in 2024. Courses are delivered project by project, on professional-grade equipment, taught by people still working in the industry. SAE graduates work at companies like Netflix, Nike, Ubisoft, Sony Music and Warner Brothers.
