ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Located on the shores of Kangaroo Bay, on Hobart's Eastern Shore, Rosny College is a public school for Year 11 and 12 students, established in 1973. With approximately 1,265 students, the school offers a modern and welcoming Senior Secondary environment, with a strong focus on academic, professional and personal development.
Rosny College offers one of the widest ranges of Senior Secondary subjects in southern Tasmania, with TASC Levels 1–4 courses, VET, university pathways and industry-focused programs. Students can build a personalised study program based on their goals, with options in Science, Mathematics, Technology, Arts, Humanities, Health and Physical Education, Languages and vocational training. The school also offers strong student support, including academic and career guidance, counselling, pastoral care and wellbeing programs. Its location on the Eastern Shore provides easy access to central Hobart and to recreational areas in the region.
